A great quote shared in the show and one I hope can become a motto for Norwood:

Move Norwood Forward aims to shed light on the people, businesses and happenings of Norwood, Ohio that are bettering the city. If you know of a person who should be featured on an episode, nominate them here.
For the abatements given- Rookwood one is over 20 years old, Rookwood two 15 years – those abatements have to be ending?? Cornerstone ? a dozen years? Where is the money? Have auditors ever examined? Property tax on the Rookwoods, sales tax, payroll tax
For schools – property tax is plenty. The last levy was a big one. For all 45212 properties how much does the auditor assess for Norwood Schools? total? Further beyond property tax how much state/federal come to Norwood schools? How many students colletive – cost per year for one student?
I do not have all the answers for you but this article How a City goes bankrupt offers up a look on how much, or how little is going to our schools from property tax. https://movenorwoodforward.com/live/how-a-city-goes-bankrupt/
